Here are some ideas for promoting your event.
- Submit your event to the campus calendar.
- View resources to assist you in adding items to the calendar and ensuring that calendar items appear on the appropriate UTIA websites.
- Submit your event to local event calendars.
- Post a news item on your website.
- View instructions to assist you in adding the UTIA News block on your website.
- Create social media posts that link back to the calendar entry.
- Social Share Buttons make it easy to share to your personal pages, to groups or pages you manage.
- Purchase sponsored posts on Facebook and Twitter.
- Share the post with your departmental / college listservs and email newsletters.
- Post to applicable listservs.
- Consider print or digital external advertising.
- Use your building or college’s digital signage.
- Share your event with previous attendees by collecting email addresses at events.
Professionals in the Office of Marketing and Communications are also available to help with Institute-wide events or meetings, conferences, and other gatherings with a statewide, regional, or national audience.
